Rooted in the Rhythm of the Tide
Community & Values
Wind & Waves was born from a simple idea: that wellbeing is not about doing more, but about finding a natural rhythm between movement and rest, activity and stillness, and time for ourselves and time with others.
Inspired by the changing rhythms of the Scottish coast, we create spaces and experiences that invite you to move well, breathe deeply, rest fully and nourish yourself — while making time for connection, community and a greater sense of belonging.
We value simplicity, inclusivity, connection and care — for ourselves, for one another and for the natural world around us. We believe wellbeing should feel accessible, welcoming and woven into everyday life, not something separate from it.

Move with the tide. Breathe with the wind. Find your natural rhythm.
Accessible Classes
We believe movement should be accessible to every body. From gentle yoga to mindful movement, our classes create a welcoming space to move, breathe and find your natural rhythm.
Community
Wellbeing is better when we experience it together. We create opportunities to connect, share, learn and support one another — building a community rooted in kindness, inclusion and belonging.
Free Resources
Wellbeing shouldn't have to come at a price. We share free practices, guides and resources to help you bring more movement, mindfulness and balance into everyday life.
Meet the Founder

I'm Ashleigh, the founder of Wind & Waves.Â
With over 20 years of experience in yoga and meditation, I've been teaching and practising in both Scotland and Canada, alongside a background in wellness, business and community.

Wind & Waves brings together the practices and experiences that have shaped my own journey — creating a space where movement, rest, nourishment and connection can become part of everyday life.

Inspired by my connection to the Scottish coast and my years living in Canada, I created Wind & Waves as a place to come back to what feels natural: moving well, breathing deeply, resting fully and finding connection with ourselves, each other and the world around us.
